The 105U-G Wireless Gateway interfaces 105U I/O units to external data bus systems, or provides a wireless I/O interconection between different data buses.
The 105U-G communicates using Elpro's 105U exception reporting peer-to-peer protocol on the radio port, and maintains an internal I/O data base (or process image). The I/O database interfaces with one of a range of data-bus protocols, Internet, or TCP/IP. The field buses available are Modbus, DF1, Profibus DP, Modbus TCP and Ethernet TCP/IP (including Internet & email interface).
